| Dahle 846 Stack/Ream Cutterby Bill Blocker - September 1, 2010
I have owned, and have literaly beat to death, a Dahle 846 cutter for the past six years. It has consistantly cut 5,000 to 10,000 sheets a day, with multiple cuts per sheet, six days a week. While this might not seem like a large number of sheets, you must realize that around 80% is 124lb (10pt) coated card stock. The only reason I am buying a new one it that I have worn out the frame.
Pros: Highly recommended
Cons: The tension strap is an expendable that you must replace about every 4 months. At $19 for a 10in stainless steel band, it is over priced. |
