If you've been sitting on the fence trying to decide on whether or not to take the leap and buy a letter folding machine, you may want to take a good hard look at the Intelli-Fold IF300 paper folding machine from Intelli-Zone. This desktop folder is very affordably priced, especially considering what it can do. This is a great way to save your business money and time by eliminating the need to manually fold paper.
When it comes to affordable entry-level paper folding machines, there are often few options to choose from. Many entry-level machines simply aren't up to the task of folding paper accurately or easily. The IF300 is remarkably easy to set up and it comes equipped with several high-end features often found in machines that cost twice as much.
The IF300 is a manual setup, automatic feed paper folding machine. The feed tray on this machine will hold up to 100 sheets of standard copy paper. No pre-fanning of the paper is necessary. Simply insert the paper into the feed tray and the IF300 will automatically pull a sheet off of the stack. Be sure that when the paper is inserted into the machine that the side guides are snugly against the paper and that the stack doesn't bow in the middle. Also be aware that this machine is not designed to work with slick or glossy paper.
This machine has been around for almost two years now and it has proven itself to be a reliable paper folding machine. We have found the only issues is with the initial installation of the folding plates. If the folding plates are not properly inserted and locked into place, jams can occur. If the plates are locked in place correctly, the IF300 rarely if ever jams.
The Intelli-Fold IF300 has a total of two folding plates. One is located on the front of the machine and the other is located in the back. A fold chart is located on the side of the machine that indicates where the plates need to be set prior to use. These settings are also marked on the two folding plates themselves. The IF300 can be set up to create a half fold, Z-fold, letter fold and double parallel fold. Because these folding plates are manually adjusted, some customization in the folds is possible.
While the variable speed motor is fast, running at 3,600 pieces per hour, this machine is not intended for heavy-duty use. It is excellent for folding a few hundred sheets per day. It will accept 8 ½" x 11 and A4 size paper. The motor can be set to run at low, medium or high-volume speeds.
Unlike most folding machines in this price range, the IF300 has a three digital counter (up to 999) and it can be set up to fold a specified amount of sheets. If you put in 10, it will stop folding after 10 sheets. This is especially nice if you are trying to keep track of paper for printing and folding jobs.
This machine is not only very functional and good at what it does, but it also looks great. It comes with a stand and a paper catching tray. Buy yours today!

IF 300 Folding Machineby Bill E - May 13, 2013
I used this paper folding machine in our church. So far I've only used it to fold around 500 sheets, but it seems to work well. I wish the feeder held more than 100 sheets, but I think this is farily common.
Pros: It looks good. Takes up little space on my desk. Priced right.
Cons: Settings are metric. Made in China.
Decent For What I doby Wanda M - August 14, 2013
This machine does a great job for what I do. I fold a couple hundred letters ever week. I like that it automatically pulls the paper in and I don't have to stand around feeding it paper. The folds are clean and accurate. Not a lot to it. It works.
Pros: Affordable. Includes a paper counter. Adjustable speed. Folds my paper well.
Cons: Doesn't do multi-sheet folding, but it doesn't claim to either.
