The average office does not employ an “envelope licker” or “letter inserter.” These are not careers, but menial tasks that detract from the more cognitive responsibilities of office personnel. Folder inserter are simple but revolutionary machines that perform these and other tedious tasks, so the office worker can concentrate on the things that he/she was hired to do. A quality machine has several paper fold variations, the capacity to insert hundreds of pieces of paper per hour and a moisturizing envelope sealer that is as clean as any printer. A folder/inserter never took anyone’s job, it merely improves the job of anyone who has to fold a letter, stick it in an envelope and then seal it, either by licking it, or by using an unsanitary sponge.
