Will this machine [MBM 87M paper folder] seal “pressure seal” check paper? What kind of self sealing forms will this machine use?

Answer
The MBM 87M is actually a paper folding machine mainly intended for use with 20 lb. bond paper, not self-sealing forms. That means the unit takes a regular sheet of copy paper and folds it into one of four different fold styles. There is no sealing involved whatsoever.
The machine you need is an automatic pressure sealer, or paper folder sealer. A folder sealer will process check paper by folding it and then sealing it shut. Several banks and other similar institutions use machines such as 
these for processing payments, and other tasks. This type of equipment requires the use of special paper equipped with strategically placed dots of glue. When the paper is processed and folded, these little packets of glue burst and firmly seal the paper together.
