The Signmaster 44 Laminator by Ledco is a unique 44-inch wide machine that offers a different lamination process than most models. This professional-grade roll laminator applies transfer tape vinyl to sign blanks and mounts and laminates in one process. In other words, the machine forces cold, pressure-sensitive adhesive on to the single side of an object. This laminator does not fully encapsulate an object in lamination film, as do most roll laminators in its class. This laminator does have a single heated roll, but that’s mainly intended to ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free surface.
The wide-format Signmaster 44 was designed with sign shops, photo-finishing labs, reprographics shops, copy shops and manufacturing plants in mind. This commercial laminator professionally covers all varieties of paper, vinyl and other material up to a half-inch thick. A little-known feature about the Signmaster 44 is its ability to process lamination pouches. You can actually encapsulate items with this machine, as long as you use lamination pouches for the film, not regular lamination rolls.
