Tamerica Guillomax paper cutterQuestion

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a new commercial paper cutter. We currently have a Powerline Martin Yale Model 7000E. I was wondering if you have any feedback from customers who have purchased the Tamerica Guillomax Manual cutter. Thanks for your help.

Have a Blessed Day,

Answer

Yes, we’ve received a significant amount of feedback about the Tamerica Guillomax paper cutter. So far, the results have been somewhat mixed. Before we sell a Guillomax unit we are careful to explain to our customers what the machine can and cannot do. If you are expecting a heavy-duty, high-volume machine at an economical price, you will be disappointed. This cutter is a low- to medium-volume unit. If you need to manually cut large amounts of paper each business day, then the MBM Triumph 4705 is the model we recommend.

However, if you do need an affordable stack paper cutter for smaller volume cutting needs, the Tamerica Guillomax may be just the cutter for you. This stack guillotine-style cutter is almost entirely made from durable metal. It features a handy grid for proper paper alignment, and cuts a stack of paper by pulling the metal handle that brings down the blade.

The Guillomax is rated to cut up to 325 sheets of new 20 lb. paper at a time. After some extensive testing at Office Zone we did note that it is not easy to remove and insert the cutting sticks on the Guillomax. This process does take some time and patience. The machine comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
