I am interested in buying one of the Minipack Galaxy Shrink Wrap for our Warehouse operation, but I am not sure how reliable the shrink wrap machine is. Do you supply spare parts upon customer requests? Do you have technicians who can travel to the customer plant for servicing? Thank you
You’ve certainly made a wise choice! The Minipack Galaxy shrink wrap machine is one of the most reliable models available on the market today. In fact, we’ve used several Galaxy demo models on our showroom floor for the last few years. And speaking from experience, this is a well-built, extremely reliable machine. About the only parts you’ll ever need to replace on a Galaxy are the minor pieces that wear out with use, such as the shrink film cutting wire. Our customers also report similar results with their Galaxy unit. It’s a rare occasion when a customer calls about an issue with their MiniPack shrink wrap system!
Office Zone offers full support and service on these machines. No matter where you are located, we can ship replacement parts and supplies. We also offer on-premises services with certified technicians in most parts of the United States.

I am looking for a shrinkwrap machine for my chocolate business. I was looking at your Galaxy model but I am concerned about heat sealing with chocolate that has a melting point of 96 degrees. Would this be a concern based on the heat needed to seal the box of chocolates and the limited amount of time to seal the package?
We highly recommend the MiniPack Galaxy Shrink Wrap Machine. There are two reasons why. First, the Galaxy will not melt your chocolate. This is one of the most efficient models available on the market. This means the heat tunnel will not become so hot that it melts your precious chocolates. The chamber gets hot enough to shrink wrap film over the container. Second, the inside of the Galaxy stays relatively cool. This is due to its unique Teflon-coated wire rack. This feature alone helps absorb heat so your product is protected, and the operator’s fingers are not burned.
The Galaxy is a shrink wrapping machine that meets the needs of the most packaging requirements. Its large shrink chamber can accommodate various sized products including candy boxes. All MiniPack machine controls are operator- friendly, and the shrink film rolls are relatively easy to reload. The Galaxy is rated by Office Zone as a high-performance shrink wrap machine able to package an impressive 300 units an hour.

Not sure you have them, but are there any cross-cut shredders that cut something (CD’s, credit cards and paper) into 20 vertical pieces (I want to make sure that they can’t be put back together).
We highly recommend the Destroyit 2604 Cross Cut Paper Shredder. This will completely destroy your CD’s, credit cards and paper in one pass. The 2604 will cut up all of these items into more than 20 separate pieces. Once a CD, for example, is shredded, there is absolutely no way to reassemble it.
Destroyit shredders have an earned reputation for offering some of the best, quality-built shredder models for office shredding needs. And, the Model 2604 is definitely no exception. This shredder may be used non-stop throughout the day thanks to a thermally protected motor. It also contains sensors for jam prevention.
The Destroyit 2604 has an easy-to-use control interface. The shredder head and motor in this shredder are relatively quiet. The 2604 was designed for use in an office environment and will not cause any unnecessary distractions.

I’m interested in a comb binder, and wondered if you might have a suggestion of which binder would be best for my needs.
I would be using the binder to punch and bind 15 sheets of 110 lb. cardstock. I would use the binder around 200 times/year, and would like a quality binder that will last.
Thank you for your assistance.
We recommend the Intelli-Bind™ IB400 Comb Binding Machine. This new comb binder from Intelli-Zone™ is the most feature-rich comb binding machine available in its price range. The IB400 can punch up to 18 sheets of 20-lb. paper at a time. It will definitely handle your heavy 110 lb. cardstock paper, but it won’t punch as many sheets at a time.
This particular model comes with fully selectable punching pins. This helps you easily disengage any punching die for custom punching projects. The Intelli-Zone IB400 can bind books up to one inch in thickness. The IB400 is a well-rounded comb binding machine that may be used for most medium-volume punch and binding tasks such as yours. It was constructed to last for several years with regular use.

Today, Office Zone just added new professional business envelopes to its site. We know, we know … you may say at first, “So what?” Why is that such a big deal. Good question! The reason why this is such a big deal, is now our customers have a convenient source for buying mailing envelopes that may be used in our automatic paper folding and inserting equipment.
These high-quality business envelopes, made by Relyco, come in standard business mailing sizes such as No. 9 and No. 10. These professional-grade envelopes may be used for a variety of different mailing applications, while providing you with maximum security.
The main benefit these envelopes offer, at least as far as we’re concerned, is the fact they may be used with most of our paper folder/inserter equipment. The envelope flaps are the correct size for securely closing folded and inserted material such as business letters, invoices, newsletters, etc. Be sure to take a closer look at Office Zone’s new business envelopes today.

This is a question we hear on a frequent basis at Office Zone. Our customers want to know why we encourage them to buy a bottle of shredder oil with their machine. It would initially appear that the main benefit would be in providing lubrication to the shredding heads. Shredder oil indeed helps cut down on the wear and tear that paper shredders endure when they are used. Shredder oil helps lubricate the moving parts in the shred head, and does help extend machine life. By the way, Office Zone recommends you oil your shredder at least every time you change the shred bag or waste bin.
Those are all valid considerations why you should use paper shredder oil. However, the most significant reason why consistent shredder lubrication is important has to do with maintaining the machine’s maximum shred capacity. Each shredder has a paper shredding rating handed down by the manufacturer. This lets you know how many regular sheets you can safely insert into the machine and shred at a time. Consistent oiling helps prevent build-up of paper dust and other substances that can gum up the cutting blades, thus decreasing performance. This ensures maximum shredding operation and extends the life of the machine.

I need 8.5 x 11 sheets folded twice to 1/4 size of original.
Very small quantities. 200 per day.
What are my options?
We highly recommend the Tamerica TPF-42 Paper Folding Machine. This model will fold your 8.5″ x 11″ sheets down to a quarter size of the original. This is called a cross-fold, or right-angle fold. A cross-fold paper fold can only be executed by a few select models, and the TPF-42 paper folder is one of them.
The TPF-42 not only creates some of the most common paper folds used today, but it can also be adjusted to create a wide variety of custom folds as well. The TPF-42 comes complete with a weighted stacking wheel system that ensures half-folded pages are accurately processed when run through the machine a second time.
This paper folder is fast, highly accurate, and one of the easiest manual set-up paper folders available on the market today. The Tamerica TPF-42 paper folding machine is comparable to the MBM 207M (a model that requires a much more significant investment) in both design and operation.

Hi, I am looking for an automated shrink wrap machine to shrink wrap books – textbook size hardcovers. I need to do approximately 50-300 books per day – on average maybe 100 per day. I just started researching these and saw some on your site for around $2500, which is more within our budget. Are those ones not automated?
We have the ideal system for you that’s almost completely automated. It’s the GHL PP1622 Combo Shrink Wrap System. You can view the machine’s video demo here. Unfortunately, even the most basic version of the model PP1622 well exceeds your set budget. For a smaller investment of about $2,500, we recommend the Minipack Galileo Shrink Wrap Machine System.
This is a terrific shrink wrapper, but it is not fully automated. You must insert the books into the shrink wrap film sleeve and then pull down the hood to complete the shrink wrap process. The Galileo is a very popular model and comes highly recommend for shrink wrapping textbooks.

I watched the video of this machine [ProfiPack 425] but never saw the waste….I’m interested in a shredder that results in small shredded pieces. Is there a machine that does that? What does the waste look like from this machine?
Oh yes, the ProfiPack 425 video demo! This was produced years ago by our own David Stuart. David is our marketing supervisor and has over 10 years of expertise in the office equipment industry. David personally tests most of the machines we sell, and he has created several useful product demos for thousands of customers and potential buyers.
The ProfiPack 425 cardboard recycler was designed to trim to size, then shred a sheet of cardboard into a waffle-type pattern. It was not intended to produce small shredded particles. The ProfiPack 425 makes stiff cardboard extremely pliable, relatively soft and easy to form around most items. This method works quite well for most shipping tasks. Shredded cardboard is the ideal way to recycle and save your business money.
If desired, you can always run the shredded cardboard through the machine a second time to produce small cardboard chips. Some of our customers do this to line pet cages, such as a hamsters, or other small rodents.
We also tested shredding cardboard with the Destroyit 4002 Cross Cut Heavy-Duty Paper Shredder. We chose this machine for testing because of its wide 16-inch feed opening and heavy-duty design. Although not intended for this purpose, the shredder did a terrific job of shredding a sheet of cardboard into small particles.

Our office is interested in finding out more information on the Coilmac EPI Plus Coil Punch w/Electric Inserter by Akiles. We would like to see a demonstration of this product’s capabilities and information. Is there a demo we can download or schedule with a representative? Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
The Akiles CoilMac-EPI Plus is a highly durable, yet easy-to-use electric punch and binding machine. Akiles is known for manufacturing quality binding machines, and continues the tradition with the CoilMac-EPI. The EPI has a durable electric motor that punches and inserts coil in a matter of seconds. And, it punches oval-shaped holes in a 4:1 pitch pattern. This decreases coil insertion time by up to 50%. That’s because oval holes make it easer to insert coil vs. round.
We currently do not have a prerecorded video demo of the Akiles CoilMac-EPI that we can show you. However, we would be glad to perform a live demonstration of the EPI. This is one of the key advantages Office Zone holds over the competition. Over the years, we have found that our live office machine demonstrations are a highly efficient way to adequately showcase the features of a product. You can schedule your live demo today by calling toll-free: 1-800-543-5454.
