It’s a fact. The cost of food is continuing to rise, and these cost increases are impacting the bottom line of every restaurant, deli, dinner and roadside dive that serves fresh food. The most popular method of lowering costs is to store perishable food items in a way that lengthens its shelf-life, and reduce spoilage loss. This is what makes the Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer such a good investment for any food business, or even a large household that wants to control their grocery budget or store food for emergencies.
The Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is used to encase perishable food items, such as beef, poultry, fish, wild game, vegetables, fruits and other food items in an air-tight plastic bag. Storing food this way increases its shelf life by reducing exposure to air and other contaminants that break down stored food. The Minipack 20 is a medium volume chamber Vacuum Sealer that is designed to be able to package and seal dozens of storage bags per hour.
Even though The Minipack 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer looks like a robot straight out of a science fiction movie, it is extremely simple for someone to be able to operate. To package and seal the food products, the user fills the bag with whatever the product is then places the open bag in to the sealing chamber. The user then sets the digital controls to indicate the amount of oxygen and needs to be removed before sealing. The more oxygen and moisture that is removed the longer the food will be able to be stored. However, if too much is oxygen is moved it can put pressure on the contents of the bag that may damage the product. The machine then expels the desired amount of oxygen and moisture from the bag and seals it closed.
The Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is able to accommodate bags that are 13 inches wide. It has a built in memory system that can store up to 10 programs, making transitions between products faster. The Chamber Vacuum Sealer also trims excess plastic from the sealed bags to allow for better product storage. It features an electronic millibar sensor to precisely measure the vacuum level so you get optimal results. The Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is made of non-corrosive aluminum that is easy to keep clean, and the machine itself is low maintenance. The years of production this chamber Chamber Vacuum Sealer provides, the cost savings from reduced spoilage loss, and the inexpensive price for the sealing bags helps the machine to be extremely cost effective, and will pay for itself over time.
The MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is manufactured by Minipack America, a brand leader in packaging machines for over thirty years. Their machines tend to be easy to maintain, are energy efficient, and have a 1 year warranty.
The Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Vacuum Sealer is space efficient and won’t take up excess room in your kitchen or on your retail counter. The Minipack MVS 20 Chamber Chamber Vacuum Sealer is a must have item for food retail businesses, food service operations, food processing manufacturers, or even for avid sportsman for home use.

If you’re looking to expand your cooking arsenal, as well as preserving your delicious foods for a long, long time to come, it’s time to look into buying a chamber vacuum sealer. Vacuum sealers are excellent for packing liquids, meat, and other foods. One extremely easy to use machine to consider would be the MVS 31X chamber vacuum sealer by Minipack. This review will explain the features that set it apart from the other similar models.
Manufactured in Italy, Minipack is one of the top leaders in the vacuum sealer and shrinkwrap industry, making quality machines at completely affordable prices. The MVS 31X recently replaced their very popular model the MVS 31. The main differences are an upgraded design and a slightly smaller sealing area.
The first thing to know about this machine, as well as all of Minipack’s vacuum sealers, is the high quality craftsmanship of stainless steel. This makes it easier for cleaning, and makes it much more durable for heavy use. Other models are made of the cheaper sheet metal, which will not hold up over time.
The next thing that makes this an easy choice is the all-digital control panel. This allows you to store up to 10 different programs. Why would you need so many? This vacuum sealer can suck up to 99.9% of the air out of the bag, preserving your food for up to three times the regular amount.
It doesn’t just work on food, however. You can also vacuum seal your clothing! If you want to fit your entire wardrobe into one suitcase, you can easily make more room by sealing the t-shirts, socks, and anything else you want.
You can also use an inert gas kit as an option with this machine. This will allow you to pump a separate gas back into the bag. This is used on things such as chips, crackers, and other things you don’t want crushed. The automation of this machine makes it so easy that anyone can use.
Another great thing about this model is the optional slant tray. If you’re doing any type of liquids, you can use this to make sure there is no mess. The slant tray makes all the liquid sit conveniently at the base of the bag. This is something you will not find in an external vacuum sealer.
One thing most people don’t know about vacuum sealers is they need to be calibrated for the location you live in. The MVS 31X has auto-calibration, making this step one less to worry about.
So, if you’re doing a fairly mid or high range volume of items the size of 12.5 X 9.5 X 3.75, this is really the best choice. Overall, it’s certainly one of the best purchases for the money you spend.
You can find pricing and other information about the MVS 31X vacuum sealer here. Also, if you need a bigger size chamber, we have many other great models to choose from here.

I just watched the demo for the MiniPack MVS45. I am looking for one that can help me with vacuum packing liquids. I have a commissary and we produce many soups and sauces. I need it to be in 1 gal. packages. Which machine do you recommend? Also, are there instructions as to what pressure to set it to for liquids? Do I need to get a gas injection kit referred to in the video?
The MVS 45 vacuum sealer will work for you. You can purchase the optional MVS 45 Slant Tray for use with liquids. You would also need a vacuum seal bag that measures at least 14″ x 12″. The machine comes with a instruction booklet that will help you determine and program the optimum seal times for your various liquids. You can also call our service department for further assistance. No, you would not need the optional MVS 45 Inert Gas Kit to seal liquids.
